Plastic grinding is a process used to reduce the size of plastic materials into smaller particles or granules. This process is essential in recycling and manufacturing industries, where it helps convert plastic waste or scrap into a reusable form. The resulting material, often referred to as „regrind,” can be used in various applications, such as in the production of new plastic products.

Step 1

Plastic schredding services

Plastic shredding is a process used to reduce large pieces of plastic into smaller, more manageable fragments. Magnets and metal detectors are used to identify and remove any metal contaminants that may be present.

We can shred many types of plastic srap, including car bumpers, fuel tanks, palets, crates, pipes, totes, etc.

These smaller pieces are then ground down using specialized equipment, such as mills, granulators, etc. to produce uniform flakes.

We can produce various size of flakes. The most popular are 9/16 inch (14mm) and 3/8 inch (10mm).

Step 3

Plastic washing services

This process involves cleaning the ground plastic regrind to remove contaminants such as dirt, oils, labels, adhesives, metal elements, and other impurities. Cleaned regrind is crucial for producing high-quality recycled plastic materials that can be used in new products.

Step 4

Plastic drying services

We offer two steps drying process:

Centrifugal Drying: The wet plastic flakes are placed in a centrifugal dryer, where high-speed spinning removes most of the water.

Thermal Drying: Additional drying is done using heated air to ensure the plastic is completely dry before storage.
